Stephen Kim is a senior managing director and head of Evercore ISI’s Housing Research team. Mr. Kim is ranked No. 1 on Institutional Investor’s 2021 All-America Research Team for Homebuilding & Building Products, and has been in the premier spot every year since 2016. His work focuses on national housing demographics, building products manufacturing and distribution, and emerging trends across both the new and resale housing markets; he coined the term “iBuyer” in 2017.

Prior to joining Evercore ISI, Mr. Kim spent over two decades in equity research and investment management, holding lead analyst positions at Barclays Capital, Citi and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Kim received a B.S. in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
